Reaching, 2016

This award winning sculpture is part of a series called Dismemberment. The series is about what it means to have a body right now. Our bodies are dissected and mashed back together, just like these pieces. The body parts are 3D scanned and modified. They are then printed and photographed. This sculpture is about hope and illusion. It is speaking to the oppressive digital circumstances with live in.
